Are you going to be trying Dutch food? Also yes. Stamppot. Hutspot. Rookwurst. Friets. Gouda. Stroopwaffle. Bitterballen. Cheese sticks. Done.
But there was one other place I'd heard about and really wanted to try. Was it a lavish 5 star dining experience? Um no. In fact, whilst we were there we were watching a police take down right outside the window.
The place was FEBO. It's a chain and it's like a vending machine for snacks and burgers. You can order drinks at the counter, but everything else, you choose what you want, pay and voila! A little window opens up and there's your snack. I wanted to try the croquettes. TBH, not sure what I ended up getting, two different ones and they were both good. Marivi got a veggie one and that was good too. €3 each. Not exactly a bargain, but not bad. And it came with a free show of the police in action. Tick.
